Plugins

Many devices can communicate with the Asycube. Each robot or PLC has its own specific communication requirements. In order to reduce the development costs and fully benefit of the complete capabilities and performances of the Asycube, Asyril offers different integration plugins.

Important

If you are using EYE+, these plugins are useless as the communication with the Asycube is already handled by EYE+.

Robot plugins

Communication with Asycube is done over TCP/IP. In order to simplify the communication with your robot, the following plugins are available:

• ABB
• Denso
• FANUC
• Mitsubishi
• Stäubli
• Universal Robots
• Yamaha
• Yaskawa

PLC plugins

In addition to TCP/IP, Asycube supports a Modbus TCP Fieldbus communication, allowing for easier integration into your application. For other fieldbuses, Asyril offers pre-configured hardware Gateways together with a dedicated plugin for the following PLC brands:

• Gateway CC-Link / Plugin Mitsubishi PLC
• Gateway EtherCAT / Plugin Beckhoff
• Gateway EtherNet/IP / Plugin Rockwell
• Gateway PROFINET / Plugin Siemens

Important

In order to use the plugin, a pre-configured Gateway delivered by Asyril is required. Please contact us for further information about the pre-configured Gateways.
